Therapeutic Offerings

Indian Marmar point massage

Marma points are energy points in the body used for healing in Ayurveda. They can be compared to acupuncture points in Chinese Medicine. There are said to be 107 marma points on the body, each serving a particular purpose, and each with its own name and specific way of massaging it.

Classical Swedish massage

Also called traditional massage consists mainly of long strokes over oiled skin and kneading of the outer layers of muscle tissue to reduce stress and soothe sore joints and muscles. Swedish massage relaxes the nervous system, aids circulation and promotes detoxification.

Deep tissue massage

Mainly used to treat musculoskeletal issues, such as strains and sports injuries. It involves applying sustained pressure using slow, deep strokes to target the inner layers of your muscles and connective tissues. This helps to break up scar tissue that forms following an injury and reduce tension in muscle and tissue. It also promotes faster healing by increasing blood flow and reducing inflammation.

Lymphatic drainage

A very gentle massage that encourages the movement of lymph fluids around the body. The fluid in the lymphatic system helps remove waste and toxins from the body tissues. Ideal for post sport recovery, to reduce water retention, boost weight loss and immune system.

Thai Body massage

Thai Massage is a massage in form of (passive) Yoga movement. It includes gentle pressure, stretching, kneading and pulling to relax and stimulate the whole body.

Meridian massage

Is a traditional Chinese medical practice that’s based on restoring optimal energy flow throughout the 12 meridians in your body. Each meridian provides energy for a specific area or organ. Energetic blockages can therefore lead to an increased or diminished function of an organ.

Reflexology

Also known as zone therapy, is an alternative medicine involving application of pressure to the feet and hands. Helps with fatigue, reduces pain and digestive problems as well strengthens the immune system and boosts general wellbeing.
